On a birthday trip to the Oprah show with her family, Mindy was discovered by Oprah Winfrey when making animal noises as a studio audience member. Mindy was nicknamed “The Rooster Lady” by Oprah and got herself a seat on the couch! The Rooster Lady was out of the coop and gaining her wings as a television personality.
Mindy co-hosted the #1 morning drive radio program in Saginaw, Michigan. She served as a red-carpet reporter for Entertainment Tonight and had roles in film (The Princess Diaries), television (Sabrina the Teenage Witch), and reality TV (The Real Gilligan’s Island).
Her time in media led to amazing experiences and great friendships. She currently co-hosts the podcast Friendsome and Then Some with her ride-or-die pals she met at KTLA, Michelle Orrego and JD Cargill.
